Hi

I was really fighting with the Cimex today pushing and pulling like mad. Also it is now squeaking which I have never heard a Cimex do. I know they'll click or tick but not usually squeak.

any thoughts?

Ken

Wheels or pulleys/bearings

Do you still have the original wheels on it or have you replaced the the wheels and axle with the new wheel kit from Rick? The old axle could be rusted.

If that is not it then your bearings inside the pulleys could have gone out. I had to replace the pulleys recently because the bearings went out. Not a fun job, however it sure does work better now.

Check your solution flow...sounds like you may have been running a little dry...OR the carpeting itself sometimes causes it to pull to one side...

Don't fight it

Did you try reversing the drive, ie; direction of the pad spin.

On some carpets I have found this is enough to counteract that problem.

Ooroo,

Shortwun.

I've seen the light, and changed my wicked ways. wink.gif
