StairPro tool

I do a lot of Cimex encap work, but a good portion of my residential cleaning is with my truckmount. Has anyone tried the StairPro tool by RotoVac? I see it on their web site. I'm looking for a way around the back-breaking job of using a regular stair tool. I guess I don't contort as easily as I once did.
Or does anyone know of any other brand of power tool I can use with my truckmount to clean stairs?

How would you..........

How would you clean the riser with the Stair Pro ???

I use either my Makita with bonnet, or Cyclo with brushes depending on the carpet and severity.

Also there is another tool VERY similar to the Cyclo which has two extension handles, so that you can clean upholstery, or attach the handles and clean stairs without bending over.

Hi Bruce:

My favorite tool for stairs with extraction is Greenhorn stair tool. We sold some to my customers and they seem to like them. For encapping stairs, I'm with Shorty on the Makita polisher. Were working on a college out this way right now and doing a ton of stairs with it.

Hi Rick, can you email me, or post here, a photo of the stair tool you use for HWE.

Living down under at times, is like living in the dark ages.

Thanks,

No Longer Looking

We use the Makita 9227-C when encapping and the Prochem stair tool when truckmounting. Over the years I've tried alot of tools but never found anything better than these two.

I have both the Makita and the Prochem that you mention. Just looking for something better for HWE on high end residential, something with a motor.

Forget it! It will work you do death. Stairs hurt! Upholstery hurts! Until you can buy a robot to do it for you, it's gonna hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!

That Greenhorn is very similar to the stair wand that I have.

At my age, & the price they cost down under, I think I'll stick with what I've got.

Until possibly, I come over there again. wink.gif
