Stop wickbacks / re-occuring spots on padded carpet?

Hello everyone.

I have a potential account that is having problems with wicking/re-occuring spots on hallway carpet that has padding. It is a solution-dyed cut-pile nylon. It is a residential building.

I know about Rick's spill stain treatment for CGD. What would be the best technique to prevent wicking in this situation?

Thanks.

Hi Thomas,

That trick will work on any type of carpet.

Okay Rick, I will do just that. The GM of the building basically said that if I can take care of those re-occuring spots, the account will be mine. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Ricks system of doing this works hands down. I would like to suggest a 2nd way that works very well. "Host" is a sure cure for this type of problem with imediate results. We have also used Capture with great results but we prefer the Host as you do not have a potential dust problem.

Thanks Fred. Will keep that in mind as an option.
