DS Encap Smell

Hey Rick! I like the smell of your DS, but have you ever considered offering it in different scents? I've also had people complain about that scent... I'd like to order it in citrus, vanilla, etc...

What do you think?

essential oils will change the scent of the product, so will odorcide.

Tea tree oil is why the scent if the way it is,which is part of the formulation.

We use Encap Basic when there are any concerns over smell. Works for us.

David's comments are right on the money. Tea Tree is an added scent, as well as part of the formulation. It's one of the ingredients that adds to the functionality of the product. Tea Tree oil (unlike other fragrances) actually exhibits solvent properties.

But if you wanted to change/modify the scent, as David mentioned, you could add a couple of drops f whatever "Essential Oil" that you like. Essential oils can be used in very small quantities (a couple of drops per gallon of rtu). Here is one source for essential oils...

Or you could use a "Fragrance Oil" (but use these very sparingly)...

Or you could add a little Odorcide, which is completely compatible with Releasit...

And as Ray mentioned above, another option would be to try Encap-Basic. Encap-Basic cleans very well, is inexpensive, and has a fresh cucumber scent...

I hope this is helpful to you.
