PSI Screens for Orbot

Drew mentioned he heard some one had found some screens that would only let out pressure that had at least 5psi.

Would be great for my Orbot, any one heard of these??

The Orbot comes with the anti-drip screens, but they do not work. Drip, drip, drip, drip, then the paint comes off.
Other than that, the Orbot is the best OP machine ever built.

I have found that when the jets dripped it was due to debris in the screens or them not being seated correctly.

This happens due to me not running plain hot water through the machine after cleaning with DS Mostly occasionally Punch. They springs get gooped with the crystallizing agents which can look like gelled finish.

The paint does come off for sure. I may be powercoating mine again so it wont rust out.

New strainer with built-in check valve

January 26 2010, 1:49 AM

I think I might be the guy Drew is talking about. I am trying a new nozzle tip strainer for my Orbot sprayer. I have always had problems with dripping and the pump having a hard time overcoming the check valve. I am currently trying a 4193A-5-24SS from ispray.com. This assembly has the largest size mesh screen (24) and the lowest PSI rating (5). My thoughts are the large screen would not clog as easily as the current size and the lower psi rating would allow the pump to spray easier. I am still testing at this time but initial results seem good. They were about $23 each.
