Steamin Demon Bags

Does anyone here wash and reuse them? Anyone use substitutes?

$5 per bag is getting expensive...

There really is no substitute, but there is a work around for it.

You would need the filter mesh system for the classic Demon, use it instead of the pump out filter you now have for the XL yo would then cut a hole in the bottom of the filter bag for the XL or chance not using one at all.

While $5 a bag may seem expensive refitting may cost more unless you have the parts already available to you. the other part of the equation is the mess yo need to clean out at the end of the day since it is not all contained.

I have had to do the work around a few times due to either very nasty carpets that would have chewed through bags or I just plain forgot to bring a new filter bag.

What I do with my demon is use a knee-high nylon stocking. Works great as a filter bag.

No I have never done that, I know people have done it using hydroforce in line filters though.

To me using the filter bags designed for the Demon means I probably have less to worry about conserning the vac motor blowing foam and such.

Try a few things out and do what works best for you
