Orbot question!!

February 26 2010 at 4:55 PM
Matt

I don't know if this has always been like this and I am just noticing but:

When I put the Orbot in the "UP" position to change a pad, I notice there is play with in the velcro driver. I took off the driver and removed the plate, etc. and found that the round metal piece seems to be loose.

Is it supposed to have some give to it? I can't for the life of me find any where to tighten it!

The second picture is the piece that has play in it...any one have any ideas??

thanks!

Matt,

The play you are feeling is most likely in the bearing! The motor is spinning inside the bearing race and as the machine gets older the bearing gets looser! If the counterweight is loose on the bearing then can be a problem! If the bearing is just worn then it is not a problem until the pad stops moving when you are using the machine!

Give us a call and we can help you diagnose it a little more in detail! 800-330-1888

Kind Regards,
