Had a job to do on Saturday, I do it every year + I do reception every six months.

Have to do another level in the same building next week-end for the same company.

Carpets are at least ten years old.

Four + years ago they were going to replace one level but the carpet layer doing the quote told them to contact me to see about cleaning them instead of replacing.

The rest is history.

They have just done a re-fit of the office and were talking about the high cost to replace, not to mention the inconvenience to workers, etc;

Today I have convinced them into cleaning them twice a year instead of replacing, and come in every three months to do the traffic and reception.

I love this game.

Earlier today, I had to go "up the beaches" to clean some upholstery and this little rock wallaby with joey in it's pouch was eating grass in the backyard.

Delia scared it and it took off up the side of the house.

The owner reckons there are five of them living under his house.

Yes HE DOES love in a paradise. I was down there a couple of years ago for the Aussie Carpet Cleaners Expo. (Shorty greeted us at the airport) Nancy and I traveled up and down the right side of Australia. And I've gotta say, the area where Shorty lives is the most beautiful that we saw (rain forest, mountains, golden beaches, palms and exotic plants, snorkeling on the great barrier reef, and "barramundi' the best fish we ever tasted). Pictures don't describe the feel of the place.
