Sisal Rug Cleaning?

I looked back at some of the posts in regards to cleaning a sisal rug. They were from some years ago so just wondering if something like Hydrox would work on a sisal rug. From what I've read so far, it sounds like they are not worth the risk of cleaning them.

Sisal

We would only low moisture clean Sisal, and the majority of the time never guarantee anything. They can be a pain, but you can make it better with the cimex. Haven't used Hydrox on it though.

Powdered cleaner is what I'd recommend

I feel that POWDER is the way to go with Sisal.

We have a great product that's actually intended for the Brush & Clean cylindrical brush machines. Their powdered cleaner is similar to Host, but I like it better. Well at any rate, I really think that using a powdered cleaner is the best technique for Sisal (Brush & Clean, Host, Capture - it doesn't matter which one). Powder is much safer than cleaning with water IMHO. If you're interested in trying the Brush & Clean powdered cleaner, give us a call at the office and we can send you some.
