pre spotting

hello all- new to encap. Have always been Hwe with my truck mount. I purchased a cimex recently and am using encap ds and encap punch. My question is about pre spotting. Let's say I have a gum spot that I would normally use a solvent gel. Can I still use that and go over it with my Cimex? Seems like it would need to be flushed out. Or say I did red stain removal with red relief? Just fly over it with the Cimex afterward? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Here's the trick. If you use your citrus gel or your Red Relief SPARINGLY, and blot up the residue with a towel - you can just run right over that with the Cimex with Releasit. It couldn't be any simpler. No need to flush the carpet - providing you that you use the specialty spotter sparingly and blot up most of it with a towel.

Another option is to use your specialty spottier sparingly as mentioned above. Blot the spot with a towel. And then apply Encap-Spot and blot it with a towel. If you follow a specialty spotter (that's used sparingly) with Encap-Spot - you won't need to rinse the spot. Encap-Spot will encapsulate the modest amount of spotter that may still remain in the carpet. It's easy to see where this simple approach can be helpful. For instance in a LARGE commercial building there wouldn't be a need to drag in a bunch of equipment to provide a specialty spotting service on the 27th floor.
