How Well Do Fiber Plus Pads Work Under An OP Machine?

How well do fiber plus pads hold up to the oscillating motion of an OP machine compared to a Cimex or a 175? Also, how do the fiber plus pads clean under an OP machine compared to bonnets as far as quality and production?

Lots of people use FiberPlus pads on their OP machines. It's very common for doing straight encap work on commercial jobs. There won't be soil absorption, like you'd get using a bonnet. But that's not an issue if you're doing straight encap work. The FiberPlus pads work well on OP machines, but they will wear out a bit faster than they would on a Cimex or rotary machine. Give it a shot. For commercial jobs it's a nice alternative instead of bringing a truckload of bonnets.

I use FP and FP MAX under a 17" roto and they work great. Been doing it for a few years now.

Another thing that works great on berber is Fiber Plus Max pad sitting on top of a glad pad. The Glad pad now has a firmer scrubbing drive pad. You will notice the pad has a more consistant soiled area. The other thing I do on heavy soiled carpet is prespray followed by agitation with a Fiber Plus pad, then remove the Fiber Plus pad and OP like normal. The agitation and extended dwell time taken while scrubbing will help emulsify the soil for easier removal with the OP cloth pad.
