How about a spot claw? Maybe flood it a couple of times and then put the spot claw on it.

Probably soaked down into the floor beneath - may take a few goes to get it out - charge accordingly. Water claw may work if it will get a good enough seal on the commercial carpet.

Bruce,

There was a similar issue in a hotel in Adelaie, Australia! That situation was hydraulic pump oil though! He had to clean the are three times with a very strong Concentration of Encap Clean DS. On the third visit he noticed that the area was yellow and he was able to vacuum it away! My thought is that now that you have done a deep HWE you might want to try just using the Cimex and Encap Clean DS to correct you wicking issue!

Yes, if the oil has saturated the fiber and the backing of the carpet it can be more difficult to remove all of the oil residue. You could add some nice balsamic vinegar and have a salad.

Seriously tough: As Drew mentioned above. We've heard some AMAZING accounts of guys doing incredible things removing oil with Encap-Clean DS. If you want to try doing what the guy in Australia did --- Mix the Encap-Clean DS strong (at 6-8 oz per gallon) and then FOAM up the carpet like crazy. Make mounds of foam. Don't worry about over wetting it. Put a fan on it. Come back the next day and do a normal cleaning with a strong mix of Encap-Clean DS. This 2 step approach should work (the fellow in Australia actually did a 3 step approach).

The Crystalon3 polymer in Releasit LOVES oil so I'm pretty sure you can pull this off just fine. And if all else fails you can always go with the salad suggestion.
