Water staining

I'm sure we all get these at times.

I just wonder what those new at Encapsulation think about tackling these jobs, and how the more experienced ones handle these situations.

Tell me what you think about this and how you would restore it using Encapsulation.

Picture a large open office, water from the in ceiling air conditioner has malfunctioned and leaked onto the carpet.

This has stained the direct stick polypropylene in an area of about 120 square feet.

The water has migrated under an office wall staining a further 20 square feet.

I'll let you ponder this while I go and clean it and take photos. wink.gif

ENCAP-HYDROX

Encap-HydrOx will eliminate any browning stain / water stain / coffee stain. It also eliminates, organic stains such as red wine, pet stains, food stains, vomit, urine, blood, etc. And it's handy on wool and upholstery too.

If Hydrox is not compatible with DS, and you use DS initially with Cimex, can you spot clean with Hydrox after? Or what is the prcedure? I spot clean after I Cimex with DS because most stains disappear after initial clean.

Sure. you can spot clean with it. You just won't get the benefits of true encapsulation. No biggie.

For true encapsulation cleaning though you don't want to mix Encap-HydrOx with any higher pH products.

Oops !!!!!!! again

Forgot to take me flamin' camera didn't I. sad.gif

Anyhow, the job was browned out nicely thank you very much and carpet was bone dry.

Plenty of rubbish in both rooms, plus the a/c guy's ladder, tool box, brief case and other stuff to get rid of before vacuuming.

(Hope he wasn't still up in the ceiling) happy.gif

I then used a pump sprayer to apply Hydrox and then Cimex'd with Fiberplus pads.

I like to use the friction to warm the product up (Hydrox), and make it work better.

Then it was a simple matter of Mexing' the entire two areas with DS.

Got a phone call from the office manager today, uh-oh...................

(This job was originally given to me by the real estate/property manager for this building).

Office manager say's the rest of the carpet looks like cr*p, can I come back and do the rest as soon as possible.

Jeez I love this game.

Why would I want to retire. ??
