I have heard those same stats on a Brian Tracy CD.

Good point Bob and Shorty.

He also tells a story of a Xerox sales guy that is out canvassing. Talks to a prospect. Prospect says no need. Theres just me here. Sales guy stops by every 3 months for 3 years more to say how is it goping whats new.

After 3 years The just me Prospect. says. Im glad you stopped by. Just got word that we will be building an operations center here that I am in charge of. We will be needing your product.
Persistent sales guy got a massive order.

Some times being nice, persistent, and dealing with small people turns into gigantic benefit.

Great story! Here is another one - from me. Afew y ears ago I was buying some fixer upper houses in S Carolina with a partner. I did a mailing to absente homeowners - a "we buy houses" type ad. Got a great response. 1 year later I get a call from someone that kept my postcard all that time and wanted to sell a house. Made me think - how many people didn't keep my postcard - never heard from me again and now wanted to sell a house!? Prabaly a couple of 5010K deals in there!
