4804 Yellow Brushes on a Cimex

Last weekend I cleaned an office that had mostly CGD but had 2 Exec offices with a cut residential carpet. I cleaned the CGD with ReleaseIT DS with Tan pads. They worked as expected. For the cut pile I put on white brushes and cleaned the plush with brushes. To be honest I was amazed how well it cleaned up. I experimented on the CGD with the white brushes. I got more foam than normal but the white brushes do not provide a very aggressive scrub. My question is will the 4805 brushes work on CGD carpet or will they be too aggressive and bog down the Cimex?? And yes I have the gray pads and use them. Just looking for other possibilities. Does anyone use brushes for CGD instead of the fiber pads? If so what one?

Steve, those yellow brushes are polypropylene. They're pretty aggressive for most CGD carpets. There's a significant risk of tearing the pile loose or distorting the fiber. I've tried using these brushes on CGD carpets and quite honestly it was frightening. I wouldn't recommend it.
