Athletic Flooring

Anyone on here ever clean any rubberized athletic flooring? I recently cleaned the carpet in a fitness center and they have asked me to consider cleaning their flooring. The only details that they could give me is that it is athletic flooring. It is smooth but has a hard rubber feeling.

Any info would be appreciated.

Check with them and find out which products are recommended by the manufacturer. Most of the time - rubber flooring has very specific requirements as to how they're serviced and what kinds of products may be applied. Taski has a lot of the weird floor covering market cornered.

If the customers knows the manufacture go to their website and they should have maintenance instructions that are quite detailed. But it's real easy for all that I've seen.
Basically sweep, then mop on a oil and grease emulsifying detergent (alkaline but they usually recommend a product by name), scrub either with a nylon brush or 175 rotary with a pad and suck it up with a shop vac or mop. In a gym floor I would rent an auto scrubber and scrub and suck in 1 pass.
Pretty easy jump on it.

What Rick said is a great idea but if you don't have
the money to rent a auto scrubber you can use your portable
and a neutral cleaner.
