Hey Rick, I just wanted to congratulate you on the Bio-Encap...I bought one gallon last week to try out, and it works great! I still have some left which I will be using the rest up cleaning some FILTHY hallways tomorrow in a hotel (after spring breakers!)...I used it to clean up a large function hall and it cut through the dirt like a hot knife thru butter...I have to say that it seems almost as strong as DS but I didnt compare the two side to side...and the fragrance, ahhhhhhh....No more complaints from people I have to clean around about strong smells (most of my cleaning is during the day with people still in the offices)

PS I noticed that the regular DS doesnt bother my nose now when using the Orbot - did you change something in the formulation? I'm elated!!! Smells much better (Maybe its just me LOL)

You mentioned that Bio-ENcap seems about as strong as Encap-Clean DS. In fact as we tested Bio-Encap, we found that it was every bit as powerful as Encap-Clean DS! I'm happy to hear that you saw similar results

Regarding Encap-Clean DS --- GREAT NEWS it has been reformulated too!

Encap-Clean DS was reformulated about a month ago. The new version cleans even better than the original version of Encap-Clean DS. It crystallizes beautifully. And it won't make anyone cough if it is sprayed. The best encap detergent in the industry just got even better. The new version of Encap-Clean DS is now called Encap-Clean DS2

Nick,

Cleaning performance will be very similar between both products. The two products have entirely new formulations. And the raw ingredients in each product are different from each other (Bio-Encap uses all DfE certified raw ingredients). Yet their cleaning performance are on par with each other. In our testing we saw no difference in the cleaning in most of the tests between the two, and in a couple of the tests Bio-Encap actually had a slight edge.

Bottom line: Encap-Clean DS2 cleans more effectively than Encap-Clean DS. And in some tests Bio-Encap appeared to clean slightly better than Encap-Clean DS2. Where the rubber meets the road, you'll find that both of the new products clean exceptionally well.

DS2 will work well on all of your nasty carpets. You'd want to use Bio-Encap if you're working with a facility that is requiring a "green" certified product. Either one will produce excellent results.
