Encapping Residential - Hey Rick...

Hey Rick

You responded with the following in a post below...

"FOR RESIDENTIAL:

I would recommend replacing the brush on your rotary machine with a pad driver. Use the pad driver along with FiberPlus pads to scrub carpets. It will scrub more evenly, with better agitation, and using less juice than running a shampoo brush."

Would that setup be too aggressive for cut pile nylon? Would there be a tip blooming issue? I'm looking for a low-moisture solution for residential and hoping not to have to deal with pads if possible. K.I.S.S.

For most residential carpets, the beige FiberPlus pads work really well and they're not too aggressive. The FP pads are pretty soft and safe for all but the most delicate fiber. A soft shampoo brush works well too. I've personally used the beige FP pads on residential carpets with great success and I know many others who have done the same.

I'll second what Rick said (not that it's necessary.) I've used the beige FP pads on cut pile residential as well with great results and no damage issues.
