I found a website that will help all of you check how you are listed in the local section of the search engines. Go tohttp://getlisted.org type in your company name and zip code and click enter. It will then tell you if you have filled out your business profile on all of these search engines google local, yahoo local, bing, best of the web, hotfrog, and yelp. Once you fill out your profile in each of these search engines it should helping people find you better. It is something simple that should help everybody and its free.

I read Kevins' post and thought, "what a great idea, I'll check this out later", wrote a quick reply and went to work.

Just read Don's post, and the young fella has got there before me.

Checked out the link and found:


5 Digit U.S. zip code example: 60611


Also doesn't work down under, (like me) , where we only have a 4 digit post (zip) code.

Looks like my Googling education has come to an abrupt halt once again.

Does not work in Canada, need a zip code, does not accept our postal code.

Once you go tohttp://www.getlisted.org look at the top of the screen on the left you will probably see an American flag, then the word version, followed by the word change. Select change and you will see the Canadian flag and the flag for England. Select your flag and you should be able to use the site. Good luck I hope it works.

Shorty your still out of luck, but a great guy like yourself probably doesn't even need a website.
