Clean micro fiber pads

June 13 2011 at 7:53 PM
Paul

I am having a good time finding ways to let my microfiber pads from Excellent Supply and my 17 inch buffer help me.
I have put them in the washing machine with hot water and soap but they still look stained. Is that just because they are stained but clean and usable or is there some magig to turning them all blue again insta\ead of brown and blue?
Should i run them through the machine again with just hot water, no soap? even though i let them go through two rinses I worry they might have soap in them and I wont know until I need them.
How do you guys use your MF pads and rotary along with your Cimex use?
Thanks....cheers.........

I have one of those blue pads and I think some\of the brownish specks in it are just the color of the pad. Once used it will never be as blue as it was new. How about wash your pads in hot water
& 2 oz. of encap/ds. Hang on clothesline to dry or lay flat. No dryer for the pads.

Charles nailed it. Good advice.

Here's what we recommend for washing bonnets:
Use Tide detergent to launder them in hot water. Then dry them flat.
Note: No bonnet will ever look as good as new after they've been used.

P.S. Keep your bonnets wet after they've become soiled. Leaving them in a bucket with a little water to keep them wet prior to laundering will help make them easier to clean. You can add an ounce of any Releasit detergent to the soaking bonnets to help keep the soil emulsified prior to laundering.
