17 inch scrubber vs cimex

I have been using a cimex from a fellow cleaner here in town. that relationship has fallen through so i am without the ability to encap. I have a 17 in floor buffer so Im wondering how the fiber plus pads for buffers work in comparison to the cimex. Having the experience with the cimex what are going to be the biggest challenges to the change?

I have a job coming up for a local church that has drink stains. In the not so recent past i cleaned this carpet with steam cleaning and all the drink spots wicked back. Am I going to be limited with the buffer in how effective I can be?

No, you won't be limited. Yes, there is a bit of difference in the way a swing machine is used in comparison to a Cimex, although solution application rates remain the same (a swing machine should not use any more solution than a Cimex.)

And 175 machines work great with fiber plus pads or even brushes. The one main difference will be in production rates. I would strongly suggest mounting a solution tank on your machine.

In short, a swing machine works great. It's just a little slower process.

Yep! David gave you good advice. Actually with encapping with the correct chemcals you will not have the wick back of the stains. Good luck!

You will do just fine. I would add a tank, FP pads work great with a swing. Been doing it for years.
