August 15 2011 at 11:57 AM

Hi guys,

Cleaning some bad filtration lines on light beige carpet. After applying Ex Supply FSR and bang with a brush/dwell ect. will the op with cotton pad remove the lines or do I need my ninja?

Thanks for your info!

Think you would need to extract the edges. Possible you could use a encap product and hand brush as well

Here's a simple trick

Don is correct that CTI's FSR should be extracted.

Here is a simple (machine-free) way to extract specialty spotting products...

1. Use the specialty spotter sparingly, and blot up the specialty spotter with a terrycloth towel.
2. Apply a liberal amount of Encap-Spot to the spot and blot the spot with a terrycloth towel.

Encap-Spot can effectively remove the small amount of specialty spotter, as long as the first spotter was used sparingly and it was blotted up with a towel. This trick works great on most specialty spotting products (I've personally used this successfully along with many of the CTI specialty spotters). It's a simple way to perform of your specialty spotting without needing to drag in an extractor. Encap-Spot can encapsulate the remaining traces of the previous spotter. Encap-Spot is like having an extractor in a bottle. happy.gif
