Hydrox is unbelievable on light colored upholstery!!!!

I have a couch at home that I practice new product on. It is oversized and made of off white cotton like material. The type of material that spilling water, on it, will stain. It had browning marks all over it. I applied hydrox to the ottoman first and vigorously scrubbed at the water stains with a a micro fiber mop head folded in half. To my surprise it started to come clean before even extracting it. I was pretty surprised. So I put Hydrox to another test. I wanted to see if this hydrogen peroxide polymer really works like Ricks blog said it did. So I cleaned the whole ottoman thoroughly using a generous amount of hydrox and the same microfiber cloth. I did not extract it. The results were outstanding. I usually pass on this color and material of couch because I know that it has the potential to be a serious pain in the neck. With a little more self training with hydrox I think I'll take the next job. It takes care of browning, stains, and overall noticably brightens the material. And the polymer works. Never extracted the ottoman and couch and it is not sticky and no evidence of redepostion. And you don't have to worry about small overspray on the carpet. Awesome stuff!

Hydrox on upholstery

September 24 2011, 12:16 AM

I agree with you about the Hydrox. I did 5 couches, 10 camel-back chairs and 19 desk chairs with upholstered bottoms today for a commercial customer. I used Hydrox, the drill attachment for upholstery, a horsehair brush and rinsed with a portable. The drill attachment made the job faster and easier. I tested three different upholstery cleaners and the Hydrox outperformed the others by far.
