Tile & Grout Question

October 13 2011 at 5:34 AM
Shorty

Is it possible to do an acceptable job cleaning tile & grout in the following manner with the equipment described.

Lay down heavy solution with mop and bucket rather than pre-spray or drip feed.

Agitate with either Cimex or Orbot with t&g brushes.

Rinse/extract using a 300psi machine with good vacuum, and a 360i rotary.

Curious, and appreciate any info positive or negative, either here or private.

Ta,

Shorty.

Absolutely Shorty. The Orbot is great for tile. You don't even have to use your extractor. After giving an area a really good scrub, throw a pad down and use the Orbot tile brush for a pad driver and simply pad the area dry. Works great.

You will need the weight kit for the Orbot though. Also, I make use of my ugly pads by using them to mop up on tile jobs.
