transporting a cimex

I move my equipment from place to place with a trailer and there are frequent bounces out here in the country. What is the proper way/position to move the Cimex to prevent damage?

Don't leave the head (big blue deck) up. Put it down like you are cleaning with it. This will prevent it from rolling. Also if it is bouncing in a trailer I would always make sure the tank is empty. If not, this will cause undue stress on the tank and could cause it to crack or just make a mess in trailer. Next is strap it in well to help eliminate some of the bounces.

Maybe Rick or one of the other guys will be along soon to add more to this.

Transporting Cimex

X2 what Kevin said. I also transprot 2 Cimex's in a trailer and secure with a hook I bolted to the floor.
and I do recommend securing them. Mine will move a little as far as the clip allows.
If you want I could send you pics of mine it would be the end of the week as I'm in Vegas for the rest of the week.
Just leave me your email here and I'll send them whe I get back.

I would like pictures when you get the chance. I secure the Cimex but I could probably do it better and I have been transporting it with the head up. That's probably why I'm getting ready to order 2 new pivot brackets.

By the way, I'm wondering whether there is a way to replace the bushings inside instead of the whole pivot bracket?

As mentioned above: Transport it with the head down. Leave the pad drivers and pads on the machine, and keep the head down. And firmly secure it so it won't get bumped around.

i found that a good place to station my cimex is right behind the driver's seat positioned east & west if your truck is facing north.
