Extension cord for cimex

November 17 2011 at 1:08 AM
Brian

Hello Everyone,

I would like to know what a safe gauge cord would be for my Cimex? I have had a motor burn out before, and I am wondering if I was not using the proper cord.

Thank you,

Brian

How long is it ???

How long is your extension lead.??

The longer the cable, the more it draws, the less the motor gets.

As you ask, a low rated cable will also not supply sufficient amps to Big Yella which will cause problems.

Buy the largest gauge you can find the machine will last longer. Get at least a 12ga 50ft and you'll be fine.
