Narrow fluid path

Shorty

This has only recently happened.

As I move Big Yella down the carpet, the solution seem to be only coming out on one side.

Sometimes I will have the normal full width band of white foam, other times it's only half that.

I have pulled the plugs on the three ports and flushed thoroughly, removed the drive plates and reverse flushed.

I did replace the three plugs with slightly longer plugs, not sure if this is somehow blocking flow??

Here's a pic just to demonstrate what I mean:

It's because you live in the southern hemisphere. wink.gif

What you're describing has to be related to the plumbing being plugged up. Sometimes you really need to be aggressive and clean it out multiple times in succession (really take a little time with it). As the machine ages, it can become loaded with calcium/mineral deposits from the water, as well as old detergent/chemical residue. You might try running some phosphoric acid through it in addition to the normal approach of scraping the interior with a piece of wire and blasting it with high pressure water.

Here are the instructions for cleaning the Cimex plumbing...

P.S. It's a good idea to clean the plumbing regularly. Once a month is a good maintenance routine, if it's an actively used machine. It only takes a few minutes, and it can really improve the performance of the machine.

.....And after following the instructions Rick shared and your mex is back to optimum performance, I recomend that you take a few minutes to drain left over soluion from job then add clean water to tank and run through system. that is if you wont be using the mex for a day or two.

Better is the end afterward of a matter than its beginning.
