Can Peroxide be added to BioEncap or will this affect the polymers?

As a general rule, peroxide and polymers are not compatible. Hydrogen peroxide will adversely affect typical encap polymers (including Bio-Encap). Normal encap polymers are designed to be used in a neutral to alkaline pH. Encap-HydrOx is an exception, because it's using a modified polymer that can specifically handle the strong acidic base that hydrogen peroxide requires.

Thanks Rick! I'm glad I asked before I did something stupid.

I think you may be the exception Phil. How many times have you seen guys saying - Yep... I mix 2 parts of Product A, with one part of Product B, and then I toss in a couple ounces of yak urine to give it that extra boost.

Trying to outsmart lab chemists with college degrees for this type of chemistry may not be the best idea. I'm certainly not a chemist either. But I've been fortunate to work with some really good ones as we've designed these products. We bounce ideas back and forth until we arrive at a product that we're satisfied will work well. Yet with all that fiddling and tweaking of the formula that we put into it, the whole process still has to take place within the realm of real science. So Phillip, you're a wise man to ask rather than just jumping in with the ol' glug glug method. happy.gif
