What would be the best way to pre-test DS2 or any encap cleaner before taking on a job?

Encap-Clean DS2 doesn't really need to be tested. Throw it at your most challenging accounts. You'll find there truly isn't much it can't handle!

I would agree with Rick as long as we are talking about commercial carpet. We use DS and DS2 on all types of carpet, from commercial olefin to wool oriental rugs. Just about the only time we pre-test is on some of the wool rugs to make sure colors are stable. However on carpet we don't have to pre-test. I would also have to say that if you were going to clean upholstery with DS2 then you may need to pre-test that if you didn't feel comfortable with it before you started.
