Rick - Best Brushes for Cimex & Tile/Grout Cleaning

March 6 2012 at 9:04 PM
Randy Beckner

Rick,

I have always cleaned restaurant tile/grout with T/M or high pressure portable coupled with Little Giant Heater. However, I would like to try out the cimex with the correct (I assume the 4805) brush. Is this the best brush for tile & grout (since I do not know how firm or stiff it is) and do I need to add weight to the cimex??

I want to call your office tomorrow and order a set!

Thanks,

Randy

Hi Randy,

Yes, the 4805 brushes are a good fit for tile and grout scrubbing. http://www.excellent-supply.com/4805-Firm-Cimex-Brushes-set-of-3-for-19-inch-Cimex-Machines-Floor-Care-and-Commercial-Carpet-Cleaning_p_23.html

The brushes are a nice "agitation" step, and you can then rinse with your high pressure portable. A tool like the Turboforce Hybrid is also a great way to rinse the floor following the agitation step.http://www.excellent-supply.com/Turboforce-Hybrid-Tile-Cleaning-Spinner-Wand-TH-40-Floor-Care-Floor-Machine_p_244.html

The agitation and high pressure rinse approach works really well for T&G.
