I found this article that really specifies about the safety of ORBOT Carpet Cleaning.

Personally I think with the data we now have about allergens & toxic chemicals which can now get trapped in carpets, Tile floor is the easiest and healthiest type of floor to have.

Well personally for me, I believe that carpets are a safer & healthier alternative compared to tiled flooring.

Much less slip & fall problems for everyone, not just the elderly when carpet is installed as opposed to hard surfaces.

I'd much rather fall onto carpet than onto any hard floor, especially tile, cracked heads, concussion & worse come to mind.

Drop something heavy on carpet and it will generally do no damage.

Do the same on tile, and you may end up with a broken implement or a chipped or cracked tile.

Regular vacuuming, preferably 3 times a week is great, but many find it impractical & lucky to have it done once a week.

It is up to the professional carpet cleaner to reinforce this with each of our customers.

Do you remember what happened when Sweden removed carpet from the government buildings some time back?

Here's a clue:

I've just deleted the entire dialogue to save space, also those that are interested can read the one page on the site referred to above.

Sure, it's a two minute read, but I think it is relevant to what we do, clean carpet.

Deserttile, do you clean carpet or strictly tile & grout?

Take care, you may need it on tiles. Wink Big Grin

Cool

Try living in a climate like mine where it gets -20 in the winter. You are grateful for carpeting!

The Swedish carpet study pretty much put the decision squarely in carpets corner regarding which was better, carpet or hard floors, in relation to indoor air quality.
