Weights on Orbot - CleanRite Carpet Cleaning - 05-21-2014
I have the weight kit for the orbot sprayborg which I generally used for scrubbing hard surfaces. Are these weights necessary for encapping carpet. I tried using the weights on a commercial carpet recently and my fibre plus pad got chewed up (although the pad was getting old). Interested in what others do or think about this. Thanks Aaron

I use only 2 on each side and to me the extra weight helps quite a bit. I also used it with no weight and it still works good. I guess it's personal choice.

Like NJP, I use two weights per side when cleaning CGD, and the extra head weight seems to produce better results. I do not use any weights on resi cut pile though.
