Encapping wool area rugs. - bmas - 07-27-2015

I had 7 wool area rugs to clean today. I used the cimex with some hydrox. They look great and dryer very quickly on my rack. Does anyone else do this?

Hydrogen peroxide is not generally recommended for wool. It's possible to damage the cuticle of the hair (wool is sheep hair). It's quite possible that no damage occurred, yet it's better to err on the side of caution. For wool I suggest one of our wool friendly detergents such as Encap-Clean DS2. Look for this logo on the jug...
