When using carpet protector...No Soileze. - Bernd - 11-15-2015

I know the Releasit products have Soileze as a protector inside...but i would like to offer a full carpet protector for upselling.

When I use the protector (no Soileze available) should i wait untill the carpet is dry or is it ok when it is still damp? I don´t want to destroy the operation of the polymere thats why i am asking.

That depends on the protector. Protectors, other than Solieze, should be applied after the carpet is dry and post-vacuumed. Otherwise there may be compatibility issues between the protector and the crystallizing polymer in the Releasit detergent.

Ok. Thanks. That would mean a second trip to the customer cause the carpet should be vaccumed the other day.

Correct. And you may just conclude that it's not worth it.

P.S. This is why we have Soileze. It's 100% compatible with our detergents.

Right. Its not worth it. I have to find a way to get Soileze and ask Cleaningsystems in the UK.

How much sq feets can be treated with one gallone?

RE: When using carpet protector...No Soileze. - encapman - 11-15-2015

400-600 sq ft per gellon.

Thanks again Wink .

Bernd, if your supplier is getting one Releasit product, he can get another.

At least that is would be my position, hahaha!

Stephen,

my supplier is in the UK...and i am now waiting for 3 months on the new Releasit order and i do not know when it will be delievered...

My idea is using a different protector so that i am not dependend anymore and the costs of delievery seems to much thats its not worth it cause you only can cover 400 - 600 sq feets with one gallon of soileze.

i have to calculate very very good, cause i pay a lot more than you guys.

For example: 2 cases of DS2 + shipping costs me 205 $ !!! What do you pay? 100 $ for the same?
Ok. My prices for carpet cleaning are a bit higher here in Germany than in the US but if i offer soileze as a protector i have to take 14 cent sq feet without one cent profit!!!

But the biggest problem is the delievery...i am waiting and waiting...and nothing happens...and it is very very expensive!

Are you sure that you typed that correctly? Two cases of Encap-Clean DS2 in the US sells for $294.

Just to be clear, Bernd, a "case" to us is four US gallons, or 15.2 litres to you. We get four plastic one-gallon jugs in one box.

I do fully sympathise with the need to watch costs, all of us do. Perhaps there is a local treatment that you could use after the encap has dried?
