Swing arm assembley - Ades Gros - 05-11-2016 Is the tension adjustable or is it set to what it is. Looks like to me in the cleaning position that the front is lower then the back. I just happen to notice this the other day as i was coming back to the machine in a large room. and if you notice when going along walls and into small areas the handle hits , well i cut 1" off of each end and man that makes a big difference for me. it don't hit door jams or scrub the wall. A tubing cutter works great for doing this. RE: Swing arm assembley - encapman - 05-11-2016 The swingarm has been set up to scrub efficiently. We tried MANY configurations before we got it dialed it in. The tension that we have contributes to the machine's smoothness and to how well it tracks on the carpet. We wouldn't recommend changing where it's set. Interesting idea about shorter handles though. RE: Swing arm assembley - Ades Gros - 05-11-2016 you know me i'm always thinking, But the 1" off of the handles are awesome |
