What Bonnets stick to velcro? - cookiemonster - 08-10-2016 I have just bought an orbital polishing machine that I intend using for stairs but as it is a polishing machine is uses the bonnets that you wrap around the drive plate. As I want it for carpet cleaning I am going to super glue Velcro to the drive board and would like to know what pads will fit to Velcro. Also it is only 110 w power so what pads will it be powerful enough to spin. Thanks RE: What Bonnets stick to velcro? - encapman - 08-10-2016 If you have some good and grippy Velcro, most any bonnet should stick alright. The trick is to find some really gnarly Velcro. BTW What size is it? RE: What Bonnets stick to velcro? - cookiemonster - 08-16-2016 Im not sure if it will work as it has 3000 rpm speed. Will this burn carpet? Thanks RE: What Bonnets stick to velcro? - encapman - 08-17-2016 30000 rpm would normally be pretty aggressive. In an orbital pattern, the agitation to the fiber should be safer. However I would still recommend using caution. Test first before you decide to use it as your regular go to for stairs. But I think it may be OK since the oscillation pattern is not as damaging as a rotary would produce. |
