Electricity.... - TheCleaningDude - 01-01-2013 Question for those that might know.... I might be purchasing a small pump unit that uses 20amps. As far as I know this means I can use any open 20amp circuit in the home for example a bathroom or kitchen. Is this the case or am I regulated to using a dryer plug or something cumbersome like that? Thanks! RE: Electricity.... - Jim Cross - 01-01-2013 As you say a kitchen or bathroom should be able to handle it unless the circuit is under load (microwave in use). It simply might be that the pump mfg recommends a dedicated 20 amp circuit. That's how my sump pump is for my house. |
