Cimex and Edging - Myteeman - 01-02-2013

I have been using the Cimex for about a month now and have a question?

When I use the Cimex I am not able to clean the 1"-1.5" or so of carpet that is next to the baseboards due to the overhang of the unit over the 3 brushes.

It is not a big deal on carpets that are not that dirty, however on carpets that are that dirty it looks unfinished with the uncleaned area. How are others able to clean these areas and do corners as well?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
this is what I use.

You'll find it here:

Edge Brush Carpet Cleaning Accessory

Category: ACCESSORIES
Edge Brush for effective hand scrubbing along base boards, walls and counters
Your Price: $23.50

On the left side of the pic, you'll see a small tab sticking out, it can be used as a scraper, but I cut it off with the help of Stanley, and usually use a Shark or Gum Getter scraper.

Don't forget to rake or groom the pile on plush carpets. ;-)

Shorty.
