REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - SLOTOOLS - 03-19-2013 OK I have HWE for 30 years- for some of my clients, I have demoed or completely cleaned business, residence, townhome or apartment with the OP method and Releasit chems. I am new to OP- using more with confidence every day, in fact yesterday I had a 3800 sq home, 2000sq ft. home and 2 upscale apartments, and either full OP as with the apartments or a combo of both in the homes electing to HWE stairs and frontrooms that contained more soil content. initially upon starting jobs, I take a brush and use encap to clean the nooks and crannys that hwe cannot get to, and pre clean and detail stairs. I am going to purchase a stair cleaning tool so I can encap stairs effectively as well. This has been big for my business and I am having a blast- Gotta go now and clean some more carpet................. RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - Derek - 03-19-2013 it's great aint it? how many employees / helpers do you have on these sizable homes you're doing all in 1 day? RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - SLOTOOLS - 03-19-2013 worked by myself yesterday, I have 2 part time currently, am needing 1 full time young person with a work ethic and strong back. RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - SLOTOOLS - 03-19-2013 I stay very busy, tomorrow I have 2 homes and then tonight got a call that a 2600 sq ft home I was waiting on completed escrow and is ready, believe me, in January I wished I had 3 a day to clean...... Here is a pic of front room carpet I elected to steam clean- I used OP to pretreat and work out some of the big divots from large and heavy furniture. looked pretty good after I raked it out, all the nasty spots were gone. used microfiber pad before HWE ![]() ![]() RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - MikeHabib - 03-19-2013 I use a two step process to clean stairs I use an Oreck Orbitor , then I hit the front of the stairs with a hand buffer. I did a job today and the vibrations from the Oreck knock a picture in the next room off the shelf and broke it. The woman was totally cool with it because she could not believe how well the stairs came out. RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - TheCleaningDude - 03-20-2013 I use an Oreck like Mike. Works well. Use a small microfiber as a one step process. You need to take on a nasty with OP only. It'll work! RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - NJP - 03-20-2013 Nice job! Keep up the good work. RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - SLOTOOLS - 03-20-2013 I was going to buy a stepson from CCS- anybody have experience with it? looks like a 425 dollar car buffer. thats ok if it holds up and works. RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - SLOTOOLS - 03-20-2013 Finished 2 of 3 houses today- have a little break in between- one quick comment, when someone enlists your services for a home they are moving into, make sure that you ask them if the house they are moving out requires cleaning- I am 2 for 2 on that today!! I will probably post pics later - first job was a beautiful sculptured brown carpet that I ds2 and OP cleaned- the next job, I chickened out and had to HWE front room and stairs, it was bad... RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - Rob D - 03-20-2013 Oreck orbiter is what I use. U can remove hande and customize it RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - SLOTOOLS - 03-20-2013 Yes I was going to get one when they were 100.00 off, I blinked, and missed out. But hey if it makes you money, it is not good to let spending money get in the way... RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - Peter B - 03-20-2013 Slotools, this is what i am using for stairs. Go to auto parts store and u can buy a 3 speed buffer i paid I69.00 and it"s a heavy duty auto body type with side handle or top handle came with velcro pad driver. Peter B. ![]() RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - Cairnswun - 03-21-2013 For stairs, I find this tool very hard to beat. Use brushes, microfiber bonnets or pads. http://www.excellent-supply.com/HOS-Orbot-Micro_p_357.html Many people complain about how much a tool costs. I have two of these, and believe me, down under I pay two & a half times as much as what you people pay over there. ![]() This tool is extremely easy to use, so easy in fact, that Delia prefers to use it in preference to the Makita variable speed polisher with Tuway bonnets. It has little to no torque on start-up to jar the hands or arms and can be used easily with one hand. Added benefit is the pole to save bending your back. She's 60 & I'm 68 WITH NO PROBLEMS related to our industry. We also have no intention to stop doing what we enjoy. By all means, if you can't afford this machine, get a cheaper item, but when you can afford one, get it. Your body will thank you in later years. So will your customers. Like all equipment, it's just another tool to help make you more money and do better work without breaking down regularly. No animals were harmed in the above statement, nor was any fauna used in the production. Brought to you in the interest of better production in the cleaning industry from the shortwun with warped mind. ![]() RE: REPORTS OF OP AND RELEASIT PRODUCTS BEATING HWE - TheCleaningDude - 03-21-2013 I have a Stepson. It's way beefier than a car buffer and it cleans great. Only disadvantage is that you're bending over the whole time. Really wipes you out. The Oreck has cured all of that.
