Orbot with SHOWER FEED like a CIMEX - Cairnswun - 04-24-2013 Hope you don't mind Rick, otherwise, just delete. What would you say about an Orbot that has a shower feed system similar to the system on an Cimex ?? Naturally, this is to be used only in conjunction with pads, NOT bonnets. Not only that, but it also has a stainless steel base, (NOT ALUMINUM), that will not be affected by corrosive liquids. Pipe dream?? Have a Captain Cook at these pics.................. Orbot Shadow.................. Stainless steel base.................. Sneaky little fill hose inside tank.......... Fill station clap Just thought some may be interested.................... RE: Orbot with SHOWER FEED like a CIMEX - encapman - 04-24-2013 Yes that is slick. I know that Gary Bethel in Australia is working on this idea for a while now. You Aussies are always cutting edge. I'm TRYING to get the time to hook up my unit to run via: (1) The pressure pump for bonnets. (2) Divert from the pressure pump and shower feed for pads. The older I get, the longer jobs take, and I seem to run out of time more quickly. RE: Orbot with SHOWER FEED like a CIMEX - MikeB - 04-24-2013 Yes that is a nice looking machine. I adapted the wave tank that Rick sells - same as the one pictured I think, to a Challenger pad machine and it works great with fiber pads! I think op with gravity fed solution is a great setup for high production encap. The Oreck lowboy would also be an awesome machine for the wave tank and shower feed. I'm sure Rick was way ahead of me on that one though. (04-24-2013, 07:52 PM)Cairnswun Wrote:The best of both worlds! I like that idea. As long as you have a solution tank with a release valve you could get both pressure and gravity functions from one tank.(04-24-2013, 07:32 PM)encapman Wrote: Yes that is slick.
