what do you guys do to avoid cross contamination ? - leofry@1966 - 04-25-2013 I really try to clean my hoses up very well after and before each job the same with the wand, i have recently started spraying disinfection on the wand mouth. What else can be done within reason... do you worry about bed bugs.. i have never seen them and i want to keep it that way... RE: what do you guys do to avoid cross contamination ? - jack zerkie - 04-25-2013 At the end of each job just flush your hot water over 220 deg. into your vacum line from your . supply line and that should clean anything iside the vacum line jz. RE: what do you guys do to avoid cross contamination ? - leofry@1966 - 04-26-2013 agree and not so worried about the inside of the line... more worried about outside the vacuum hose... i know the chances are not huge but possible... but yeah i am over thinking it i think..lol RE: what do you guys do to avoid cross contamination ? - P Cleaner - 04-26-2013 For emergency water damage sewer backups we use a dedacated wand and 150 ft. of hoses.
