does anyone know if my 2008 model Orbot is already equipped to attach the weight kit? i mean from pic's i've seen, the weight kit bolts that stick up off the top of the plate are like an inch from the edge on each side (left and right) ... my 2008 model doesn't have a hole there...just the screws you can see in this pic, which are like 1/8 inch from the edge...

You need the white plastic plate on both sides to hold the weight set. I had to call HOS USA and they sent me what I needed for free. They will help you with
that I'm sure.

So much talk about weight for orbots....I don't understand.
Do you guys use weight on the orbot for carpets or just hard surfaces?
If it needs weight on carpet, is the machine that light?

ordered my weight kit from Rick and Rodney today, tx fellas!!
for me it is def needed. my Challenger has more "head weight" and cleans better in a single pass. but it don't have wheels and it don't have the Orbot's pad size.
i bought ankle weights from Walmart yesterday for the Orbot...it looks ridiculous! gonna return them.
