on TMF one fella said he has a Distributor which is to be used with the Cimex brushes. it dispenses the flow more evenly when using the brushes. is this true?
anyone use one?

There is a flange that's been added to the shampoo brushes that helps deflect the shampoo so it wets the carpet more evenly. It helps a little.

are these available as an add-on to older brushes or is attaching them to older brushes not possible?

Yes they are available for existing brushes. If you need 'em we can take care of you. Cimex calls these little gems "Diffusers". I think they're a little bit pricey considering how simple they are. They sell for $21 for a set of 3. But they do help to deflect the water.
