Hydrox as an additive - Hamburg13 - 09-20-2013

Hi Rick,

I have previously read in one of your post that Hydrox should not be mixed with any other ReleaseIt product. Could you please explain the reasoning and what negative effects it could have.

Of course, Encap-HydrOx is a hydrogen peroxide based product. Hydrogen peroxide requires an acid base. Additionally, the encap polymer in Encap-HydrOx is a modified polymer that is stable with hydrogen peroxide. In other words, on every level, this product shouldn't be crossed with traditional cleaning products.

Thanks for the info Rick. What kind of side effects can occur when mixed?

Side effects?

Unsatisfactory crystallization.
An unstable pH level.
Compromised cleaning.

I'd recommend against it.
