Rotovac - bmas - 12-27-2013 Hello, I am new to the board and wanted to know if it was possible to Encap using a rotovac. I have the brush drive and am capable of using pads. I have a client that i want to touch main areas every couple of months and would like to try the Encap process Thanks for any help Brad RE: Rotovac - encapman - 12-28-2013 Some have tried using the Rotovac for encap scrubbing. What I have heard is that it's too light to be very effective. And there's no way to dispense the detergent through a shampoo tank, so you would need to pre-spray the shampoo which gives inferior results. You can give it a try, but I don't think you'll be overly impressed. That being said, you could always use the Rotovac as a hot water extraction tool (as it was designed), and use it with Encap-Punch as your detergent. This will bring you the benefits of encapsulation in your hot water extraction application: https://www.excellent-supply.com/Releasit-Encap-Punch-4-Gallon-Case-Encapsulation-Carpet-Cleaning-Products-Encap_p_69.html |
