Powdered Ink Toner
#1
I have searched the forum and found old posts, wanted to find out if there is any new/current solution or process for this? The client used another company to bonnet extract to no avail and they, themselves, used a foam type of cleaner to try to remove it....

Net net, now we were called about it and I thought to post here to find out if there is any solution short of replacement.

The area size is approximately 3' x 4', how it got this big, who knows and no one there is talking!

TIA - SS3

The stain may have become set. So be sure to "under promise" on this one!
Next, test the procedure below in a small area to see if you can get it to improve.
There's a slim chance that the toner stain may still be removable.

CHEMICALS REQUIRED: CTI Pro's Choice - Power Gel, Ink Out, and Stain Magic.
PROCEDURE:
1. Dry vacuum area thoroughly to remove as much excess contamination as possible (this is very important).
2. Apply diluted solution (15:1) of Power Gel to contaminated fibers.
3. Gently agitate treated area until contamination become suspended in foam.
4. Dry extract (no water) foam.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 until foam no longer colors from substance.
6. You could also apply CTI Ink Out. Blot Ink Out from the fiber.
7. Thoroughly hot water extraction rinse area to remove Power Gel solution.
8. If light color residue remains apply Stain Magic and allow dwell time. Stain will disappear as it dries.
