I learned today that our new client has @ 8-10 more office rooms that is water stained also from a leaking roof. I was wondering should I extract 
carpet first then cimex it with hy-drox only to remove stains.

That approach would be fine. 

Just be sure to use HydrOx - it tears through water stains.  Smile
