Hey guys, I'm in the mood to clean up my cimex and Orbot/Sprayborg...after a while they accumulate stuff from encapping (especially the orbot as it drips a little)...my assumption is its dried up polymer from encap juice...I've tried windex, and a 3ph acid cleaner figuring it will remove alkaline build-up, but no luck...
Any advice?

Time to buy a new machine.
Just kidding.
You could try letting a little bit of CTI PowerGel sit on there for a spell. That should loosen it up.

Try using a little undiluted ammonia......or even wd-40 works well

Hey guys, I tried denatured alcohol, figuring that since releasit has alcohol in it, it would put the polymer residue into suspension, and it did a pretty good job! The spots of residue came up with a little rubbing action with a cloth soaked with alcohol...

You can use a Fiberplus or Fiberplus Max scrubbing pad to scrub the products listed above.
When it is really stubborn and there is corrosion and or rust involved and the chemicals don't work I sometimes get steel wool or fine sandpaper and then touch up with a fresh coat of matched spray paint.
or...

I have had success with the non-scratch blue 3M pads. Make sure you wet them before using.

I use Turtlewax and I agree about the WD40 too. WD40 is good for just about everything - making the quick connectors quick and making slick surfaces slick.

X3 on wd40. I encaped a bunch of comercial chair backs and some got dried on the vinyl and I tried everything mentioned above nothing worked until wd40

I think a mix of alcohol and ammonia would help you to remove the stain.
