Caution is advised!
Use a low moisture system if possible.
Method 1 (Dry):
You could apply dry powder and brush the fabric gently with a soft brush (i.e. horse hair) or soft microfiber towel in the direction of the lay of the fiber. Follow up by toweling the fabric with the lay of the fiber. Repeat until it looks clean. Remove any powder residue by dry vacuuming the fabric following the lay of the fabric. Following the cleaning, fluff the pile by gently wiping a soft microfiber towel in an upward direction.
Method 2 (Minimal Moisture):
If the upholstery needs to be extracted: Lightly spray the fabric with Encap-Clean DS2 mixed at 2 oz per gallon / or Encap-HydrOx mixed at 4 oz per gallon. Brush the fabric gently with a soft brush (i.e. horse hair) in the direction of the lay of the fabric. Then mist the fabric with the upholstery tool held about 6" above the fabric - and then extract, moving the tool in the direction of the lay of the fabric. Dry the fabric by placing an air mover in front of the fabric. Following the cleaning, fluff the pile by gently wiping a soft microfiber towel in an upward direction.
