Was referred to a church and need to quote them for carpet and upholstery. The carpet is the easy part. How do you guys price the upholstery on the pews?

Cleanitgreen, I don't know anything about encapping upholstery, but when I do HWE on churches, the price depends on what they used on the pews. Smooth cushions, or quilted with buttons? Seat only, or backs too? What material?
If you are doing a quilted, seat-only pew, you have to swizzle out every button and seam. First vacuum, prespray, rub or brush, then extract. Worth at least $20/pew. If you like them, do it for less. In conjunction with the floor, have a heart and charge $10. Sometimes, I just price the pews or chairs and ask them to pick the ones that concern them. That way the deacons can manage their costs. Lots of times they'll just say " do them all." Good Luck!
